Venezuelan remanded over shotgun find

A Venezuelan man, who was allegedly found with an illegal weapon at Eteringbang, yesterday appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to prison.

Adrian Pino, through an interpreter, pleaded not guilty to a charge of possession of a firearm without being the holder of a firearm licence when Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton read it to him.

It is alleged that Pino had a single barrel shotgun in his possession on May 17.
The matter continues on June 16 at the Kamarang Magistrate’s Court.
