The young woman who allegedly robbed a man of a quantity of items valued $299,000 was granted bail in the sum $75,000 last week when she appeared before Magistrate Melissa Robertson at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Jenelle Hope, 18, was not required to plead to the indictable charge of robbery with aggravation.

It is alleged that on August 5, Hope together with others, robbed Kenrick Prescod of a gold chain, a gold ring, two cell phones and a quantity of cash, all valued $299,000.

Hope was subsequently granted bail and the case was transferred to Court Five for October 31.

When Hope appeared in court last Friday before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton, her attorney Adrian Thompson informed the court that his client was granted bail by Magistrate Robertson. Magistrate Octive-Hamilton  subsequently ordered that Hope return to court on February 24 next year.
