IAC extends Christmas greetings

The Indian Arrival Committee (IAC) extends greeting to the nation on the occasion of Christmas.

In a press release the IAC said Jesus Christ sought through his teachings to give hope to the poor and oppressed, the afflicted and downtrodden. It said recalling these teachings can accrue benefits to the nation such as fostering peace and harmony.

Jesus Christ, known to devotees of Sanatan Dharm as Yisu and to Muslims as Isa preached a message of peace and universal brotherhood which is relevant today, the group said, and has influenced the lives of Guyanese.
