DOCOL to face NM Security Solutions

The Neal and Massy Inter-Company 15-overs-a-side tapeball tournament continues today with four matches at the Guyana Softball Cricket Association ground, Carifesta Avenue with the first game billed to start at 09:00 hours.

Demerara Oxygen Company (DOCOL) will do battle with NM Security Solutions, to be followed by AINLIM/NMSL combined against AINLIM/Bermudez at 11:00 hours.

DOCOL will tackle M&D/CCS combined at 13:00 hours while Geddes Grant will take on M&D/CCS at 15:00 hours.

In the results of recent matches, AINLIM/NMSL defeated Geddes Grant ‘A’  by six wickets.

AINLIM/NMSL made 151 for 4 wickets off their allotted 15 overs. Ashraf Alli top scored with 57, Mohamed Saffie supported with an unbeaten 39.

Geddes Grant were restricted to 99 for six off their 15 overs. Randy Ketwaroo made 34 in a losing cause while Mark Singh bagged 2 -14 for the winners.

AINLIM/Bermudez suffered a two-wicket defeat at the hands of NM Security Solutions.

AINLIM/Bermudez made  85 for 6 wickets in 15 overs.
NMSS hit off the required runs for the loss of eight wickets. Deol Singh captured three wickets.

M&D/CCS crumbled to 41 all out against Geddes Grant ‘A’  with three-wicket hauls for Rudy Jairam and Mohamed Baksh. Geddes Grant hit off the required runs without losing a wicket.

 Geddes Grant ‘B’ were also in winning form with an 18-run win over DOCOL.

Geddes Grant made 101 for 8 and then bowled out DOCOL for 83.

Troy Beharry top scored for Geddes Grant with 16, while Jason De Florimonte claimed four wickets.
