The Baveghens Rainbow Training of Martial Arts, a karate club affiliated to the Caribbean Freestyle Alliance based in Barbados, have begun to hold free martial arts classes at the Joshua Orphanage, Thomas Street.
Martial Arts classes in both practical and theory in the styles of judo, shotokan karate and jujitsu are being taught by founder of the Rainbow Training of Combined Martial arts school, Quacy Baveghens in both English and Japanese languages on Saturdays and Sundays from 16.00 hrs to 17.30 hrs each day and to date, Baveghens has a total of 63 students under his tutorship.
Baveghens also conduct classes at the Charlestown Secondary School on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 16.00 to 17.30hrs, Khan’s Residence at Garden of Eden on the East Bank of Demerara on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16.00 to 1730 hrs and Busby Dam, Craig Village also on the East Bank of Demerara Mondays to Fridays from 14.00 to 16.00 hrs.
