Guyana’s inaugural Music Awards slated for later this year is about to kick off with a media blitz beginning next month.

Arrowhead Promotions, which is behind the event issued a press release to this effect week which said that on June 6, Zoom Inn will play host as the team unveils  plans for the prestigious awards.

It will kick off with a media launch earlier in the day followed by a cocktail reception, according to the team. Ministers of the government, musicians, industry professionals and specially invited guests will rub shoulders at the evening event.

The red carpet is expected to be rolled out on November 30 when the event is staged.

According to Arrowhead Promotions, the Music Awards of Guyana seek to reward artistic excellence in the music industry that has definitely shown signs of growth and development over the years.

“These awards coincide with strategic efforts to promote Guyana, through its rich and diverse arts and cultures. Exhibiting our local talent at another level is the continuation of the unleashing of vast potential,” the team added.
