Chintamani returned as city chamber head

Chandradat Chintamani has been returned to his post as President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) following Tuesday’s election, which saw a shake-up in the body’s Executive Council.

Komal Ramnauth of Kojac Marketing Agency is the Chamber’s new Senior Vice President replacing Clinton Urling of German’s Restaurant.

The post of Junior Vice President is now filled by Eon Caesar of Safeway Security who has replaced Terrence Holder of GT&T. Meanwhile Shanti Peraud of Silvies General Store has replaced Grace Kennedy’s Country Manager Coleen Paterson, as Secretary of the Chambers.

Lance Hinds of Brainstreet Group is the new Treasurer taking over from Khemraj Goberdhan, from GTM. Urling, Holder, Coleen Patterson and Goberdhan have all been appointed councillors of the GCCI.

The other councillors are Doris Lewis, Jennifer Cipiriani-Nelson, Fredrick Collins, Abdool Kadir, Simeon Corbin, John Lewis, Edward Boyer, Gerald Gouveia, Rajeshwar Ramrattan, Lloyd Austin, Raj Singh, Jason Jun.  Candace Field is the Executive Director.

The current Executive Council will serve for one year.
