A 58-year-old woman died following an accident which occurred in the city last evening. Dead is Radha Escore of Lot 4 West Road, West Ruimveldt .
Details of the accident are sketchy but reports are that the woman was struck down by a motorcyclist on Middle Road, La Penitence. She was subsequently rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital in an unconscious state where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The motorcyclist is currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.
