Six days after being involved in a motor vehicular accident at Goed Fortuin, 34-year-old Pradeep Ramdin is still unconscious and attached to a life support machine in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Georgetown Public Hospital.

According to initial reports reaching Stabroek News, relatives of Ramdin who suffered severe head injuries related that he was standing on the Goed Fortuin Public Road when a car that was reportedly speeding slammed into him.

Relatives have since said that the driver of the car was taken into custody to assist with investigations and that charges are likely to be laid shortly.

They continue to remain hopeful that he would soon regain consciousness and that his condition would improve.
