A star-studded line up is expected to be in action for the second Annual Citizens Bank Medal Play Golf tournament on Saturday at the Lusignan Golf Club starting at 12:30 hours.

Last year’s winner Gavin Todd has indicated that he will be defending his title and has been hard at training for the showdown.

Among the other challengers for the title are Brian Hackett, Patrick Prashad, Colin Ming, Ronald Bulkan, Imran Khan, Mike Mangal, Mike Guyadin, Ian Gouveia,  Christine Sukhram,  Maurice Solomon, Mel Sankies,  Andre Cummings, Esau Shamshudin,  Chagtterpaul Deo, Alfred Mentore, Dr. Ram Singh, Carlos Adams, Mike Lashley, Albert Semple and Chairman of Citizens Bank Clifford Reis.

Club Secretary Bulkan disclosed that the course is in top shape and the weather has been favourable for the past few weeks.

Approximately 36 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament which will have at stake prizes for the top three finishers as well as Nearest to the Pin.

Reis as well as other executives of Citizens Bank  are expected to assist in the presentation of prizes at the end of the tournament.

Players are reminded to register for the tournament by tomorrow afternoon by calling the club at 220-5660.
