Neal and Massy hands over cheque, trophies to GCB

The Neal and Massy Group of Companies yesterday handed over a cheque and trophies to the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) for the 2009 countrywide, first division limited overs cricket competition which has already commenced.

20090923nealmassyMaking the presentation was Deo Persaud Chief Executive Officer of Neal and Massy while GCB president Chetram Singh received the donation on behalf of the GCB.

In brief remarks Singh thanked Deo and Neal and Massy for the sponsorship and explained that the tournament was an important one since it would be used as a yardstick for selection to representative Inter-County teams for the upcoming Inter-County tournament.
Following the Inter-County One-Day tournament the regional limited overs competition will be held in Guyana.
