According to coordinator of the pageant committee Leon Roberts the delay of the presentation was due to unforeseen circumstances but he was very pleased that they were finally able to honour their commitments to the deserving young women. He said the cash awards were given to the winners prior to Saturday’s ceremony.

“Saturday was to present the much larger prizes. I must express my gratitude to all the sponsors and I am most happy to note that the top four were sponsored by businesses owned and operated by Lindeners,” Roberts added.

Picturethis Production is optimistic of having the franchise to run off the pageant next year and promises a much bigger show which would coincide with the town’s 40th anniversary.
