The Youth Department of the Heavenly Light World Outreach Fellowship known as ‘Edge’ will be holding its annual and Day of Sports for churches across Guyana today.

The event kicks off at 9 am at the Camp Ayanganna Sports Ground on Vlissengen and is opened to participants from all churches across Guyana.

The day’s activities commence with the March Past. Among the events listed for the day are the   traditional sprint and middle distance races, relays, special races for pastors and novelty events such as the Lime and Spoon, Three-Legged, and Needle and Thread races. Other events include Buns Eating, Dominoes and Tug-O-War competitions.

Entrance fees are $300 for anyone 10 and over and $100 for children under 9 years old. Attendees are reminded to use the Vlissengen Road entrance.
