The Guyana Association of Scrabble Players (GASP) will be hosting a two-tier East Coast Scrabble Tournament this Sunday at Playland, 70 Park Street, Enterprise.
The tournament is in keeping with the association’s promise to bring the game to scrabble players on the East Coast.
The tournament will begin from 10am and all are encouraged to come out and take part. Trophies will be at stake.
Transportation will be provided for those attending and patrons are asked to be at Buddy’s Parking Lot on Sheriff Street from 8:45am for a 15 minute assembly.
For those wishing to travel using their own transportation directions are as follows:
Drive along the East Coast Highway and turn off at Coldingen Road, then proceed straight ahead until you see a trench where you will turn left. Continue straight until Playland is visible. The owner of Playland is popularly known as Shanko.
