Bandits attack, rob five on seawall

The police today said that five persons were attacked and robbed by bandits on the seawall last night.

A release from the police said that cash and jewellery totalling $130,000 were snatched before the bandits got away in a vehicle.

Police say they believe the bandits were the same ones who had earlier robbed the Shell Service Station on Camp and New Market streets. The police say $10,000 was taken in that attack.
