Amerijet cargo service celebrating 20 years

Amerijet International is celebrating 20 years of providing all-cargo service to the Piarco International Airport in Trinidad and Tobago and the South Caribbean.

According to a press release, the company started operations in 1991 with two flights per week in Trinidad in 1991. Today, it operates a bonded warehouse and a Caribbean Cargo Hub at Piarco airport. Amerijet has maintained its commitment to the Trinidadian community and with significant investment has grown into the largest all-cargo airline serving Caribbean markets.

Regional Operations Manager Ricardo Henriques said Amerijet is the only carrier providing a scheduled air cargo service, linking Guyana and Suriname with other Caricom member states.
