Flights resumed

Caribbean Airlines flights resumed operating at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport some 12 hours after its Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, BW 524, was involved in an incident there.

A Caribbean Airlines flight taxis down the runway to take off from CJIA some 12 hours after yesterday’s mishap.

According to a release from CA, its first flight BW 622 was scheduled to take off from CJIA at 13:40 hrs yesterday.

The remaining four flights scheduled were also pushed back with the last flight BW 523 being scheduled to arrive at CJIA at 04:10 hrs today.
