Congratulations to Guyana Publications Inc, publishers of Stabroek News and Sunday Stabroek on their 25th anniversary tomorrow, Monday, November 21.
Many thanks to Mrs Doreen de Caires and the late Mr David de Caires, directors, shareholders, editors, pressmen and past and present staff.
The founders, Mr and Mrs de Caires, have provided employment for so many. Keeping a newspaper on the road for 25 years is quite a feat.
I take this opportunity to wish GPI all the best and as the late Mr de Caires would say if he was here, “Keep the ship afloat.” Once again congrats.
