Guyana secure 1st innings points in washed out 2nd round clash

Rain washed out the 2nd and final day of Guyana’s opening game of the regional under-15 cricket series at the Wilson Road Recreation Ground in Penal, South Trinidad.

Elsewhere, Windwards also took first innings honours over Barbados while Trinidad and Tobago took first innings points over Jamaica as rain continued to affect the regional under-15 cricket series currently being played in Trinidad.

T&T resumed Wednesday on 16 without loss in their second innings and reached 130 for five in their 21 overs of batting. This set Jamaica a winning target of 147 in 21 overs and they stuttered to 41/5 at the close. Justin Joseph who won the Man-of-the-Match award grabbed five wickets for four runs.
The Guyana side is scheduled to play tomorrow when they tackle Jamaica at Honeymoon Park.
