In the June 18, 2012 edition of the Stabroek News under the heading `Police raid Bartica bar, find underage teens drunk’ it was stated that Mr Wayne Heber was the owner of the hotel which housed the bar that was raided. Counsel for Mr Heber has since tendered to Stabroek News certified copies of a transport, certificate of incorporation and listing of shares which show that Mr Heber ceased being the owner of the premises in July of last year. Stabroek News regrets the error and apologises to Mr Heber for any inconvenience caused.
