Injury forces Bravo to pull out

CENTURION, South Africa,  CMC – Injury has forced West Indies allrounder Dwayne Bravo to pull out of the champions’ league Twenty/20 tournament currently underway in South Africa.

Bravo is suffering from a thigh strain and will be replaced in the Chennai Super Kings squad by Sri Lankan pacer Nuwan Kulasekara.

Bravo played in the World Twenty20 final in Colombo, which West Indies won by 36 runs against Sri Lanka.

He scored 19 before he was adjudged leg-before by umpire Simon Taufel standing in his last international game.

Several international media outlets have reported that the decision was wrong since there was a big inside edge.

However, Bravo had the consolation of catching Lasith Malinga at long on to bring the Sri Lankan innings to a close and trigger massive celebrations.
