A man is in police custody after more than two kilogrammes of compressed marijuana was found concealed in paint he was reportedly transporting to Imbaimadai via air.
Police said in a press release yesterday that around 09:50 hrs police ranks conducted a search on the baggage of a man who was travelling on a local flight to Imbaimadai at the Ogle Airport.
“A total of 2 kilogrammes, 542 grammes of compressed marijuana were found in a container filled with paint”, the release said adding that he was arrested and will be charged shortly.
