Sophia teen stabbed by cousin

A 17-year-old of ‘A’ Field, Sophia was last night rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after being stabbed several times about his body during an altercation with a family member.

One of two sisters who rushed Matthew Jack to the GPH told Stabroek News that her brother was involved in an altercation with a cousin, during which he was stabbed.

 

His condition was critical at the time he was admitted.

Also last evening, an unidentified America Street money changer was rushed to the GPH in a semi-conscious state after being stabbed during an apparent robbery. He was undergoing surgery up to press time.
