Online shopping agency continuing expansion

Zoon Online Shopping is expected to further expand its rapidly growing operations by the end of the year because of the overwhelming support it has been receiving from customers.

Zoon, located out of Middle Street, Georgetown, celebrated its third anniversary on August 2nd.

The small business enterprise started off with just four persons at the Kaylan Mall as an equal partnership business between Fabian Shaw and Jason Singh. The business started off with small shipments and expanded exponentially after negotiating to become E Zone’s authorised local agent, five months after its official launch.

E Zone is an international shopping and delivery service that enables customers to make purchases from virtually anywhere.

This portfolio, according to Manager Leon Ramkirpaul, has enabled Zoon to grow and make its operations more efficient.

Today, the small business employs 15 persons and even opened a branch in Vreed-en-Hoop just last month. It is currently working to expand its door-to-door delivery service in Georgetown to reduce the need for customers to visit its office. Ramkirpaul said that Zoon wants more persons to enjoy the convenience of never having to leave their homes to place an order or to pick it up.

According to the Ramkirpaul, the mission of Zoon is to revolutionise the online shopping industry in Guyana by delivering fast and reliable service at the lowest rates possible. At Zoon, he said, they believe that anyone can do shipping but not everyone can provide the unparalleled customer service it does and to which it attributes its success. The partners plan to incorporate the business in the future.
