A Ridge, Wakenaam man is now dead after he was involved in an accident on Saturday night.
According to information, at around 23:30hrs on the Good Success Public Road, Wakenaam, 38 year old Shabendar Rambajue who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol was proceeding east on his motorcycle bearing number plate CJ 9676 when he collided with a truck with number plate GGG 8743.
This newspaper was told that the man sustained injuries to his head and was picked up and rushed to the Cottage Hospital on the island where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
