This year has seen the judges choose a soca monarch, but two of the persons who were selected did not deserve to win because they did not sing soca, they sang calypso. Kwasi Edmondson and Bones Man should be at Thirst Park on Friday night.
The judges cannot judge soca as if it is calypso. I think that they are wrong. The two people who should have won1st and 2nd place are Lady T and Jomo (Rubberwaist). They sang a Mash song. The third place should have gone to Lil Red. We should get judges from overseas to judge soca in Guyana. The judging was not fair to the real soca singers.
