Caribs, UG Wolves meet today in rugby Sevens final

The experienced Yamaha Caribs and the game UG Wolves will clash in the final of the Golden Brook/Windjam-mer/ Toney Seven league today at the National Park.

This highly anticipated match up should be action packed as it is a final rematch of the Banks Sevens which was played on September 21.

The Theo Henry led Caribs will be gunning for the speedy Wolfpack which came from behind to upset them 26-24 in a close encounter with Rondell McArthur’s men.

According to Henry, his team has analyzed their mistakes in the past and will be looking to redeem themselves as they look to stamp their authority on the student ruggers.

McArthur however stated that his charges have the psychological advantage since they defeated the Caribs and will be looking to mirror last month’s achievement today.

Before the Wolves and the Caribs lock horns, the Pepsi Hornets and the rugged GDF outfit will face each other in the third place game.

That game will kick off at 16:00hrs.
