Why has Lodge been bypassed in the Clean up my Country campaign?

Dear Editor,

Several months ago the Clean Up my Country team held a consultation with residents of Lodge regarding the cleaning up of our community. The Permanent Secretary Mr Colin Croal promised there would be a follow-up consultation, at which time details would be given on who or which group/groups would be responsible for the exercise, details of the works to be done etc, so that residents could monitor the works and ensure the funds were properly utilized.

Today residents are in a state of bewilderment after waiting patiently for the follow-up consultation and watching other communities being allocated resources.

Could the Clean up my Country team say why Lodge was forsaken or when exactly we can expect to be consulted on the cleaning up of our community?

Yours faithfully,
Julianne Gaul
