Taxi driver charged with wounding passenger

A Turkeyen taxi driver was on Friday placed on $150,000 bail after he denied an allegation of wounding a passenger.

It is alleged that Kevin Lewis, 44, on December 22nd, 2015, at Tucville, unlawfully and maliciously wounded Ronald Rigby.

Aside from the fact that the incident had taken place in a taxi driven by Lewis where Rigby was a passenger, no other details related to the matter were given.

Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan allowed Lewis bail in the sum of $150,000 and placed him on a bond to be on good behaviour until the end of the trial. Lewis will make his next appearance before the court on February 29th.
