Computerisation of patient data nearly complete at GUM clinic

The Genito Urinary Medicine Clinic at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) said it has nearly completed the process of computerising patients’ data.

According to a press release Dr Jadunauth Ragnauth told Minister of Health Dr Leslie Ramsammy that the process is 95% complete when the minister paid an impromptu visit to the clinic on Thursday.

The release said Ramsammy conducted “spot checks” at several other clinics in the GPHC compound. Dr Jeetendra Mohanlall took him on a tour of the newly renovated Tuberculosis Clinic and he inspected the ongoing work at the site for the Malaria Clinic.
