Dear Editor,
Thanks to the Georgetown Chamber for publishing the list of items which we will pay more for with VAT.. in fact for the majority of households, the cost of living will go up in 2007. Telephone services, already high due to the monopoly situation, are higher. And the cost of alcohol has been further reduced.
Shame on this Government for increasing the cost of food and other essential living items, while reducing the cost of alcohol.
