The Mayor and City Council (M&CC) is mourning the passing of councillor Randolph Harris and remembers him as unflinching and dedicated to the welfare of the city.
In a press release the M&CC said Harris’ death has saddened the city’s staff and he will be greatly missed.
A People’s Progressive Party/Civic councillor, Harris was elected to the institution in 1994. He played an important role in the Legal Affairs and Information Technology committees and demonstrated an unswerving interest in the welfare of employees and local communities.
The M&CC said Harris sought every opportunity to raise the concerns of citizens and find solutions to their problems. The M&CC expressed condolences to his children and other loved ones.
