Magistrate Kim Kyte-John committed murder accused Sean Isaacs to stand trial at the next sitting of the High Court in Berbice.
Isaacs of Hopetown Village, West Coast Berbice, on July 28, 2006, at Bradley Lane, allegedly murdered Dwain Sooklall. Sooklall was chopped about his body with a cutlass and was pronounced dead on arrival at the Fort Wellington Hospital. Ten witnesses gave evidence at the trial which started on January 12 and concluded on Friday last.
