The Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club and Sports Facility will be running off a one-day pre-Valentine horse race meeting on Sunday at Alness Village, Corentyne.
According to a release, eight races are carded for the day and the meeting caters for all categories.
The F and Lower events have attracted horses such as Spin and Squeeze, Fire Power, Vavavoom, Rea Pele and some other new Trinidadian imports, the release stated.
In addition, H class 1,100 meters entrants include Billy the Kid, Graphic, Soffire and Mc Guiver.
Meanwhile, there will also be races for horses classified J Class, K Class and L Class while the three exciting races for the day are A, B and C unclassified. Races that attract larger fields and horses categorized as bad gate starters will be given flag starts. Official sponsorship is being given by Banks DIH.
