Dr Rose must take the blame for many of the problems at the university

Dear Editor,

I regard your editorial of January 25, 07 captioned, “The Turkeyen Tragedy” as filled with subjectivities and misleading statements. A reply to this editorial was penned by Dr. Anand Daljeet, former senior lecturer in the Department of Chemistry working out of Canada. His response was published in full by the Kaieteur News. He asked me to forward his letter to you and I did that twice. It is yet to be seen in your pages. As a result of this reluctance to accept Dr. Daljeet’s opinions on your reason for penning “The Turkeyen Tragedy” I will submit my own thoughts.

I have not repeated Dr. Daljeet’s arguments. I have composed my own views on the editorial. Whoever wrote that viewpoint is a shameless endorser of the incompetence and mal-administration that permeate the highest level of governorship at UG.
