The United States Embassy says the visa inquiries telephone services at its Consular Section will be operating for limited hours until further notice. In a press release, the embassy said the telephone inquiries unit, at 225-7965, which handles questions related to visa matters, will now be open for service from 12 pm to 4 pm weekdays and “between those hours only.”
The embassy said it hopes to return to regular availability shortly and will notify the public at that time. Emergency American citizens’ services are available 24 hours a day through the embassy switchboard at telephone number 225-4900.
