On behalf of my mother and the entire Kennard family I would like to thank you and recognize the obituary published in your newspaper on Sunday, February 18 on the passing of my father Gavin B Kennard. It was a wonderful tribute to one of Guyana’s most beloved sons. The obit was extremely well written both in terms of content and style and the author is to be applauded. My father’s life was well positioned in the context of Guyana’s history, and for this we thank you most sincerely.
