Dear Editor,
There was, what appeared to be, the smallest of small errors in yesterday’s Sunday Chronicle. It could be an error in typesetting or a mere mix-up of identities, any of which is excusable. On the other hand, it could be very revealing of what is no longer a deep rooted suspicion, but the norm in what passes for exchange of ideas and discourse on national issues. As the error, and context, is presented, I ask honest and authentic readers to assist with their comments.
On Sunday, October 7, 2007, the Sunday Chronicle published a letter from one Ms Sabrina Saywack titled “Stabroek news (sic) painting unfair picture.” Ms Saywack wrote: “It is good to know my letter attracted a response from Dave Martins
