Dear Editor,
I would like to congratulate both Ministries of Sport and Education for introducing the game of Chess in schools. As an avid chess player many moons ago where we amicably shared each others homes to achieve a mating or drawn position, I would strongly recommend this game to our young students.
Chess will stimulate the minds of our young people to enable them to become thinkers, so necessary for the growth of this country.
