Bush Lot man killed in road accident

A Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice man was last evening killed when a Dipcon truck crashed into the back of the truck he was on, pitching him off and crushing parts of his body.

Dead is Mickey Hiralal, 37, a labourer who was employed with a cattle farmer in the Corentyne.

Stabroek News was told that around 7 pm yesterday, Hiralal was transporting cows to Georgetown on a truck when of the cows one fell off at Number 10 Village, West Coast Berbice.

Hiralal, with the assistance of other men, managed to place the cow back on the truck. He was reportedly in the process of strapping the animal to the vehicle when the Dipcon truck crashed into the back of the truck pitching him off it. Relatives said he died on the spot.
