Fire last night destroyed a Lamaha Street embankment house located just behind the Georgetown Public Hospital.
The building was said to be owned by one Jamel Baksh.
One neighbour said that shortly before the fire began just before 10 pm, the man had visited his home and then left to go to his house. The fire started soon after. The neighbour said that Baksh had experienced some marital problems two weeks earlier.
