A Kitty resident was yesterday the victim of a drive-by shooting and is currently a patient of the Georgetown Public Hospital.
According to a press release from the medical institution, 31-year-old Ryan December of Lot 109 D’Andrade Street, Newtown was brought to the Accident and Emergency Unit at about 11:48 hrs with a gunshot wound to the right side of the face.
Reports are that December was standing in his yard when he was shot by someone passing in a vehicle.
He is currently receiving treatment, the release added.
