The Vreed-en-Hoop bus park should be the model for others

Dear Editor,

As I stood at the Vreed-en-Hoop bus park, I thought that this is how a bus park should operate, with not a tout in sight, and whenever a bus was filled, it pulled out and an empty bus took its place. In contrast the bus park at Parika is a chaotic place. Travellers are hauled, mauled and manhandled; buses are overloaded and some buses continue to play loud music. A drinking place adjacent to the park is contributing nothing to the good.

Please Mr Rohee, give us a Christmas present by getting things under control.

Yours faithfully,

EC Lobert
