Tomorrow marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the invasion of the Falkland Islands by Argentina. The decision to seize the islands by force had been taken by the military junta headed by Leopoldo Galtieri, and the defeat of the Argentine forces at the hands of the British led to the collapse of his dictatorship and the restoration of democracy.
