Dear Editor,
I do not know what revenue Stabroek News lost due to the Government’s decision to withdraw all ministry advertisements. Was it significant enough to cause the demise of this newspaper or to require cost-cutting in the form of reducing your staff?
I would like to encourage your readership, especially those who read the newspapers online to take up the slack by placing advertisements in the newspapers.

The loss of revenue from the sudden cut off of all ministry advertisements that come in through GINA is substantial. We will continue to fight this unprincipled political decision.
