Magistrate Hazel Octive Hamilton yesterday sentenced an ex-soldier to two years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to a charge of armed robbery when it was re-read to him summarily.
Travis Alleyne, of 246 Independence Boulevard, admitted that on November 3, while being armed with a toy gun, he robbed Cordella Hamilton of one Motorola cell phone valued $25, 000.
