I have noticed that all the newspapers in reporting on the weapons find at Zeskendren, Mahaicony reported that a Beretta pistol was among the weapons found. The photograph shows a Beretta sub-machine gun, a far deadlier gun than a pistol. I should know because I handled a Beretta sub-machine gun when I was in the People’s Militia way back.
Why am I writing this? Due to sloppy reporting especially with weapons finds, the wrong guns are indentified, like the time when an M16 rifle was reportedly found on some persons on the Essequibo Coast. It later turned out to be an M70 rifle, a far different gun to an M16.
