NA boy taken to Georgetown hospital after bee attack

The Georgetown Public Hospital said an 11-year-old New Amsterdam boy and a four-year-old boy from Kitty were admitted to its paediatric ward nursing injuries about their bodies.

At around 8.45 pm on Sunday Hemraj Baldeo was taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit from New Amsterdam after he was stung by bees. Details about how the incident occurred remain sketchy.

Meanwhile, Oluferri Spencer, of Lamaha Street, Newtown, Kitty was admitted to the Paediatric Surgical Ward with injuries to his head and the left side of his body after he allegedly fell from the veranda of a two storey-building. Reports are that the child fell while playing and was taken to the Accident and Emergency Unit around 4.15 pm.
