Some vendors are refusing to top up cell subscribers

It seems as though some GT&T C-Point vendors are ignorant of the “Top Up with a $100” promotion that is currently going on. There was a report on last evening’s (01/21/08) NCN news about some vendors refusing to top up GT&T cell subscribers with any amount from $100 and up. The same thing has been happening in Berbice, specifically those in Rosignol, West Bank Berbice.

I was so amused on one occasion when I went to top up my account at a vendor when she told me that her C-Point machine had to be programmed to do the $100 top up! Apparently that was the best excuse she had for refusing to top up my account. GT&T needs to take action against these vendors who are depriving customers of the benefit of this promotion. I personally feel that this promotion should be extended since it is now more convenient to top up our accounts and cheaper as well and all those C-Point vendors who are not complying with this promotion must be made aware of the injustice they are doing to GT&T subscribers.

To GT&T I say continue with the great service that is being provided and give Digicel a run for their money!
