The much anticipated Cellink Plus ‘It belongs to you – Blue Tundra competition’ preliminary drawing was held yesterday at the City Mall.
In an expectant, suspense-filled atmosphere, 20 phone numbers were drawn from the rotisserie by eager individuals who all had hopes of pulling their own numbers. The numbers drawn were: 645-3324, 654-8545, 647-3981, 628-8419, 638-5483, 653-8479, 623-8557, 612-4000, 612-3832, 643-3641, 627-8330, 643-0313, 651-3562, 627-5874, 611-1925, 619-1872, 652-0932, 645-3643, 628-7510 and 619-0665.
The holders of these phone numbers will compete in a game show on Monday February 4 where one person will emerge the winner of a fully loaded customized Tundra.
At the drawing prizes were also given to national footballers, Collie Hercules and Dwight Peters who won the ‘favourite footballer’ competition, held during the Kashif and Shangai football series.
They each received a $25,000 cheque and $5,000 phone cards.
Twenty consolation prize winners received home appliances.
Franklyn Wilson of Kaieteur News was also given a prize for best sports reporter.
